Founded in 2012, Yama-Con Anime & Comic Convention is the largest anime convention in East Tennessee held annually in the massive LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge, TN. Now in its 14th year, it has quickly grown in size and scope to welcome thousands of attendees, hundreds of hours of programming, events, and more!

Yama-Con is an annual three-day anime convention with multi-genre elements held every December. Yama-Con’s name comes from the Japanese word for mountain, “Yama.”

Yama-Con features programming from a variety of fandoms (anime, comics, sci-fi, and more). You can expect a large exhibit hall with artist and vendors, gaming (digital and table top), karaoke, cosplay contest, cosplay meetups / photoshoots, J-Pop/K-Pop/anime idol performances, Vocaloid-inspired concerts, panels, a charity auction, and much much more.
