Yama-Con welcomes members of the press, content creators, and media outlets to help share the excitement of our event! If you’re interested in covering the convention, please complete the application below for media credential consideration.
Who Should Apply?
We invite applications from:
- Journalists and news organizations
- Bloggers and website editors
- Photographers and videographers
- Streamers, YouTubers, and social media creators
Application Deadline: October 15, 2026.
Approved applicants will be notified via email with additional event details and credential pickup instructions..
Media Guidelines & Expectations
Approved media agree to:
Represent Yama-Con professionally and respectfully
Obtain consent before photographing or filming attendees (especially cosplayers)
Follow all convention policies and staff instructions
Provide post-event coverage (articles, photos, or videos) within a reasonable timeframe
What You’ll Receive (if approved):
Press/media badge for event access
Opportunities to cover panels, events, and featured guests
Potential access to designated media opportunities (if available)
Please Note: Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. Due to limited availability, media credentials are granted based on relevance, reach, and prior work.
