About Sevier County Humane Society

Sevier County Humane Society is a private 501C non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors and a full time, dedicated staff. Operating primarily on donations and community support, all contributions are appreciated and are used to educate the public, help place the animals in loving forever homes and to create a safe, healthy and comfortable environment for the animals that come into our care.

How to donate at Yama-Con

  • Attend our charity auction on Sunday 12/10/23 at 2pm. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Sevier County Humane Society.
  • Buy raffle tickets at the Charity booth (located in the hallway) throughout the weekend. Tickets will be $1 each and the winner of the raffle drawing will receive 2 weekend passes to Yama-Con 2024.
  • Buy the charity pin (art by Mimosa Studios). This limited edition special pin will be $10. All proceeds from this pin will be donated to the Sevier County Humane Society. Available at Charity Booth (in the hallway).
  • Bring in supplies and food for the animal shelter. Yama-Con will accept any supplies that you bring and donate them to the Human Society along with our financial donation from the weekend. Each item you donate will also give you an entry into the charity raffle.
  • Participate in the annual Yama-Con Scavenger Hunt. The cost to enter will be $1, but completed cards will receive a limited edition Yama-Con Variant Charity Pin (art by Mimosa Studios). Be sure to enter quickly as space will be limited for this event.
